Anyone wishing to run for office for the Norfolk Branch NAACP must be a paid member in good standing. All members whose memberships are current as of April 1st, 2018 may be nominated for office or as an at-large member of the Executive Committee.

The positions on the ballot for election in November 2018 are: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.
